A ductless heat pump both heats and cools - so unlike your neighbour's wood or pellet stove, it won't be taking the summer off.

Operating Characteristics

Heat pumps work at optimum efficiency at temperatures above 0C, but continue to provide useful and economical hear down to -10C or -15C. Below these temperatures operation is halted to prevent excessive wear on the outdoor compressor.
